Despite the scare tactics of recent anti-smoking ads, there are still a lot of people in Australia who may benefit from quit smoking hypnosis.
Quit smoking hypnosis isn’t any different from the hypnotherapy you might receive for any other reason.
What happens during quit smoking hypnosis?
You’ll sit comfortably and I will guide you to a deeply relaxed state of being. Throughout the session you will have complete control. You will remember everything about the session and if you wish to exit at any time, you can.
While you are in that relaxed state, we will address your particular barriers to quitting. It may be chemical addition, physical habit, stress-relief, or any other reason. We will start to rewrite your own personal dialogue so that you may begin to see results in your journey to quitting smoking.
A study from the University of Iowa in 1992 proved the efficacy of hypnosis for quitting smoking. It showed that the average smoker has a 6% chance of successfully quitting smoking when they go about it their own way. However, a number of treatment options including breathing techniques and acupuncture increased that success rate. However, quit smoking hypnosis increased the success rate to a whopping 30%.
